Marvel Infinite Power Chapter 002

Superman, though strong, had two weaknesses before he fully matured and reached his ultimate form.

The first was Kryptonite!

Various colors of Kryptonite had different effects on Superman. Some weakened him, while others altered his personality. They were all quite peculiar.

The second was magic!

Superman had very low resistance to magic, which could cause him harm.

The optimized Superman that Lu Yi extracted evidently had these two weaknesses removed. Now, Lu Yi was a Superman without any weaknesses.

Lu Yi raised his hands in front of him, observed them for a moment, and then suddenly asked, “How strong am I now? And what abilities do I possess?”

Superman also had different phases, and his strength varied in each. Powerful Supermen, like Golden Superman or Thought Robot, were eternally immortal, capable of distorting timelines, and incredibly powerful. Weaker ones, like Superman from the Bronze Age, were just average, perhaps not even strong enough to defeat Thor.

Lu Yi didn’t know which era’s Clark Kent he had extracted, so he could only ask the system about his power level to confirm.

“Strength: Over 10, 000 tons!

Punching Power: 30, 000 tons!

Speed: 20 times the speed of sound!

Eyes: Super heat vision, Super X-ray vision!

Ears: Super hearing, Medium-free hearing (no need for any medium to transmit sound, can hear in space)!

Super Intellect: Extremely fast processing speed, comparable to a supercomputer.

Defense: Can form a special protective force field to protect body and clothes from damage; bones and muscle density are extremely strong, can resist missiles, immune to all poisons and chemical substances, body is consistent inside and out.

Physiology: Energy provided by the sun, can store millions of times the absorbed solar energy within the body; no need for oxygen; enormous lung capacity, can exhale hurricanes; all senses are super-enhanced.

The system’s voice echoed in Lu Yi’s mind, revealing his current strength one by one.

“So strong!”

Lu Yi couldn’t help but exclaim!

The system was truly worthy of its name, simply defying all expectations. From an ordinary person to a formidable powerhouse, it only took a few seconds.

“I wonder how I’d fare against the powerhouses of the Marvel world now?”

With Lu Yi’s current strength, on Earth in the Marvel universe, as long as he didn’t encounter specifically targeted enemies, he should be considered a powerhouse. He was particularly curious about his chances against those powerful individuals.

As Lu Yi was thinking this, suddenly, a loud bang came from a wall. Lu Yi instinctively turned his head, shifting his gaze to the wall from which the sound originated within a thousandth of a second.

The wall bulged in slow motion, the paint peeled off, and spiderweb-like cracks appeared in the bricks and stones. Then, at an absolutely slow speed, they flew towards Lu Yi’s direction inside the wall.

Ignoring everything else, Lu Yi curiously extended a finger and tapped on one of the bricks. Before Lu Yi could do anything else, everything returned to normal speed.

Bricks flew like sharp arrows, and dust billowed, kicking up clouds of smoke. Lu Yi’s house was instantly covered by these projectiles and smoke. Amidst the hazy smoke, there was a chaotic crashing sound inside the house, and it was unclear what was being destroyed.

Lu Yi’s face quickly darkened. Who did he offend? He was sitting at home, and disaster struck from above. He did nothing, yet his dwelling was destroyed.

Living expenses in the United States were already high, and with this unexpected disaster, life would become even more difficult. It was questionable whether Lu Yi’s previous savings would be enough to repair the house.

Regardless of what happened next, Lu Yi only wanted to find the person who destroyed his house and beat them up to vent his anger!

Without any hesitation, Lu Yi instinctively activated his Super X-ray vision. Through the hazy smoke and thick walls, he began searching for the person who dared to stir up trouble.

As Super X-ray vision was activated, everything around Lu Yi was revealed in a different light, without reservation. Semi-transparent buildings with rough outlines, frantic human skeletons scrambling about, and so on, all came into Lu Yi’s view.

Still objects were excluded, frantic human skeletons were excluded, and various buildings were excluded. Soon, Lu Yi locked his gaze onto two figures at the street corner, both three meters tall, with robust skeletons and astonishing bone density.

On the entire street, only these two had the ability to demolish his house. If it wasn’t them, then who else could it be?

“Alright! I finally found you!”

Lu Yi gritted his teeth as he spoke, then slowly ascended into the air. After flying out of his broken wall and out of his front door, he instantly broke the sound barrier, charging with unparalleled might towards those two bastards.

The two bastards, however, had no idea what they had done or what awaited them. They continued their ongoing battle, oblivious to their surroundings.

“Hulk!”

Among the two bastards, one, whose physique was closer to a human’s, let out a roar. Wearing his tattered pants, he suddenly stomped the concrete ground, leaped over a dozen cars, and punched the other bastard, who was similar to him but clearly a monster.

The monster-like bastard saw the punch coming from the more human-like bastard. Not to be outdone, he leaped up, spread his thick arms, and charged towards the other bastard.

Both bastards were massive in weight, and no one doubted their combat power. Although the outcome was unknown, they were convinced that this would be an intense battle.

No matter which of the two bastards it was, one was destined to be sent flying by the other, causing significant harm to ordinary people like them. They could almost see it happening.

However, just when they thought they had figured out the truth, something unexpected occurred.
