He stood up and walked to the window. “But now, I can feel the wind has changed. Those hidden in the shadows are beginning to move. It’s time to fulfill the captain’s instructions.”

Shaqi turned to Long and took off his sunglasses. “Count me in, Long. For Roger’s legacy and for the future of this world, I am willing to step into the battlefield again.”

Long smiled and held out his hand: “Welcome aboard, Shaqi. Operation Dawn has begun, and every bit of strength is precious.”

Lin Ye dodged a purple-black energy beam and swept the Dawn Blade across, cutting off the incoming shadow tentacles. At the same time, Yin Yue’s figure was like a silver lightning on the battlefield, and every time she flashed, a “Star Hunter” fell.

Corleone stood at the end of the passage, forming seals with his hands, and an ominous purple mist swirled around him. “Shadow Erosion!” He shouted, and countless black lines instantly spread across the ground. Lin Ye gripped the Dawn Blade tightly, feeling a warm current flowing from the hilt into his palm. He suddenly realized something and focused his attention on the connection between his equipment and the blade. In an instant, the combat suit resonated with the Dawn Blade, and a transparent energy shield unfolded in front of him.

“Shield of Light!” This name naturally came to Lin Ye’s mind, as if the awakening of ancient memories.

Corleone’s next wave of attacks hit the shield, and the purple energy collided with the blue light, causing a wave of energy ripples. Lin Ye took the opportunity to rush forward.

“Void seeds,” Yin Yue said solemnly, “They are being transformed!”

In the blink of an eye, several members of the Star Hunters completed a terrifying transformation. Their armor merged with their flesh, presenting a purple-black appearance, their limbs became twisted and elongated, and their eyes flashed an ominous purple light.

“Half-Void Warrior,” Ramon took a step back in horror, “More dangerous than CP0 Warrior!”

“We must retreat,” Ramon shouted as he activated the defense system, “More Star Hunters are approaching, we can’t hold out here for long!”

Silver Moon flashed in front of a control panel: “Cover me! I need ten seconds to activate the energy flow to the core area!”

Lin Ye nodded, and stood back to back with Ramon on both sides of Silver Moon, fending off more and more Half-Void Warriors. The light of the Dawn Blade became stronger and stronger, and each swing could temporarily force back the enemy, but their numerical advantage was obvious, and the situation became increasingly critical.

“Success!” Yin Yue’s voice came from the console, “The passage is open, go!”

“You will see it soon,” Silver Moon’s voice was full of mystery, “that is the last secret left by the ancient kingdom, and it is also the birthplace of our spectral nation.”

At the end of the passage was a huge circular door, engraved with complex star maps and ancient runes. Yin Yue placed her palm on the groove in the center of the door, and with the sound of the ancient machinery running, the circular door slowly opened, and a dazzling light poured out from inside.

“Welcome to the Temple of Spectrum, successor of D.” Yin Yue said softly.

Lin Ye and Ramon stepped into the temple and held their breath. This was a huge spherical space with no obvious lighting source inside. In the center of the temple were seven huge crystal columns suspended, each emitting a different color of light – red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and purple, forming a complete spectrum.

“This is the heart of the ancient kingdom,” Yin Yue explained, “The seven-colored light columns represent the seven major systems, which also correspond to the seven keys.”

She led the two to the platform in the center of the temple, on which was a circular console with seven specially shaped grooves embedded in its surface.
