Shangdu Madam was wearing a light purple sleeveless tight dress, slit from the thigh like a cheongsam, almost up to the waist.

She was standing in front of her psychic cottage, welcoming Connors.

Connors was almost soaked, shivering uncontrollably, with a look of panic:

“A friend of mine said you could help me.”

Shangdu Madam’s long black hair draped over her shoulders, and she stood in front of Connors, her tone filled with concern:

“I feel like you don’t know yourself any better than I know you. Come by the fireplace to warm up, get rid of the chill, and tell me what happened.”

Connors, looking weak and helpless, followed Shangdu Madam to the table and sat down, feeling the chill on her body gradually dissipating in the firelight. She slowly began to speak:

“I keep having a nightmare…”

“In the dream, I’m a farmer who accidentally drops his axe into the river. A man with a goatee appears from the bottom of the river, holding two axes, one is my iron axe, and the other is a golden axe…”

“His expression is terrifying… This dream happens every day.”

Connors’ expression was unusually panicked, and as she spoke, tears welled up in her eyes, and she couldn’t help but wipe them away.

Shangdu Madam’s expression gradually changed from indifference to doubt. She reached out and took Connors’ small, tear-stained hands into her own.

She saw the future, but it wasn’t Connors’ future:

Above the ruined metropolis, Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman looked down at the city, which had no signs of life.

“I saw the aftermath of a great battle, and I also saw a word that defined it: Trisolaran.”

Shangdu Madam withdrew her hands from Connors, clutching her head and wanting to pull her hair:

“Trisolaran War? What is that?”

Connors interrupted Shangdu Madam’s thoughts:

“What’s wrong with me? Can you help me?”

Shangdu Madam’s fingertips flickered with cyan light. Ignoring Connors, she placed her hand on the tarot cards on the table:

“The tarot cards will tell me who will start this war and how I can stop them.”

The first card she flipped over had two figures, one adult and one child, with the word “Boy” written underneath.

The child was unremarkable, but the adult behind him had a fist raised to the sky, with lightning flashing around him and a large, bold lightning symbol on his chest.

“I haven’t met him yet, but I know who he is and how wrong it was to choose him.”

Crack!

It was raining heavily outside the psychic cottage, and a thick bolt of lightning struck, scaring Connors into a shiver:

“Please tell me quickly, what misfortune will befall me?!”

However, Shangdu Madam, whose figure was outlined in a captivating curve by her tight-fitting dress, did not answer. Instead, she flipped over two more tarot cards:

“It’s still not about you—it’s about the Justice League.”

Connors saw the images of Wonder Woman and Superman on the tarot cards, with the words “Hero” and “Warrior” underneath.

After placing the flipped cards aside, Shangdu Madam flipped over the fourth card and exclaimed:

“No! Not her!”

The image on the card was a woman completely shrouded in a red robe, her face hidden by a hood.

But that didn’t matter, the skull-shaped box the woman was holding identified her:

“It’s Pandora! She is one of the three primal sins despised by the gods. She was cursed by the ancient council and granted immortal life. They walk among us…”

The tarot card read “Human.”

Across from Shangdu Madam, Connors hugged herself, still shaken by the thunder, and didn’t react to Shangdu Madam’s words.

Shangdu Madam continued to flip cards. The fifth card was a man wearing a peculiar helmet.

“This is the second Justice League, a team created by humans, not destined by fate.”

“Why can’t I still see anything about you?”

Shangdu Madam looked at the girl across from her, as if seeing a cloud of mist that wouldn’t dissipate. She flipped over the sixth card, which still wasn’t about her, but about Batman.

The card read “Detective.”

The seventh card read “Alien,” and the image was a green-skinned, red-eyed guy, “Martian Manhunter.”

“The real intentions are hidden by lies. Martian Manhunter isn’t the only one disguised among them. They all have secrets.”

Although Shangdu Madam wanted to help the girl across from her, the tarot card readings today frequently showed other related content, which made Shangdu Madam feel confused and unable to resist exploring what would happen next.

The eighth card was a faceless man, wearing a black long suit, wearing a tie, and a top hat on his faceless head.

“What is this? Why doesn’t he have a face?—He’s not the guy in my dream.”

Connors glanced at the eighth card, seeing the word “Riddler” under the faceless man. She breathed into her clasped hands and said pitifully:

“Please stop flipping cards and tell me what you see?”

“By the way, the goat-bearded man in the dream had two blood lines painted on his face, he said, he said…”

“He said, welcome to the Drael Alliance!!”

As she spoke, Shangdu Madam had already flipped over the ninth card, and her face became unusually panicked, and even her always calm tone became sharp:

“No!! I know what Trisolaran means!”

“They’re coming, some of them are already here!”

“I need to warn the Justice League!”

Shangdu Madam’s expression was even more helpless than Connors when she first entered the psychic cottage. As she was about to get up, her hands were grabbed across the table by Connors.

Connors’ expression gradually changed from panic and helplessness to mockery:

“You really can see the future, Shangdu Madam. But unfortunately, you can’t see anything about me.”

“Magnify” “Grandmaster Unlocker”, locking all of her information, this is the method Connors uses to deal with Shangdu Madam’s prophetic abilities.

“Who are you?” Shangdu Madam tried to break free from Connors’ hands.

But no matter how hard she tried, with cyan electric light flashing from her hands, the seemingly weak girl on the other side didn’t struggle at all, holding her as if she were holding a chick.

“I want to make sure you don’t warn anyone about their future.” Connors said with a smile.

Her image gradually changed from a weak and helpless girl to a sturdy figure, smiling, wearing a Gotham-style trench coat, with a black smoke cloak behind her.

Outside the psychic cottage, vines rose into the sky, wrapping the cottage tightly, making it an area that even a breeze could not penetrate.

Inside the psychic cottage, slender and tough vines spread across the ground like wandering snakes, climbing onto the table, climbing onto Shangdu Madam’s chair, and binding her body in the tight-fitting dress in a special way.

“You can call me—Outsider.” Connors said with a smile, reaching out and pinching Shangdu Madam’s soft cheek.

Her finger slid across her face, following the curve of her swan neck and stopping on Shangdu Madam’s shoulder.

Before Shangdu Madam could scream again, the vines sealed her mouth and covered her eyes, completely imprisoning her in the chair.

“My acting seems to have improved a lot.”

Connors glanced at the tarot cards on the table, and walked out of the psychic cottage without a care, the vines automatically giving way along the way, and automatically closing after he left.

Inside the cottage, only the bound Shangdu Madam remained, and the ninth tarot card on the table showed Connors’ black smoke cloak dancing in the wind, with the flames of war soaring behind her.

Below was a word “Outsider.”
