The 2023 year-end review event has begun again.

But thinking about it carefully, there’s nothing much to summarize, other than reaching the top of the overall rankings and becoming the undisputed number one on Hedgehog Cat.

This year has been relatively laid-back; I haven’t actively sought monthly votes, and other than the usual end-of-month rewards, I’ve mostly gone with the flow.

The reasons for this, besides my worsening health, are also because I can no longer achieve further breakthroughs in terms of performance.

When I first wrote this book on Hedgehog Cat, I never thought I would easily touch the ceiling.

But since I did, there’s nothing to be done. If you enjoy the benefits of a small website, you must also bear its drawbacks.

If I hadn’t come to Hedgehog Cat, I probably wouldn’t have written this book, and I wouldn’t have accompanied everyone through these three or four years.
