The 2023 year-end review event is here again.

But thinking about it carefully, there’s not much to summarize, other than reaching the top of the overall rankings and becoming the undisputed number one on Ciweimao.

This year has been relatively laid-back. I haven’t really asked for monthly votes, and besides the usual end-of-month bounties, I’ve pretty much let things be.

The reason for this, besides my worsening health, is also because I can’t achieve further breakthroughs in terms of performance.

When I first wrote this book on Ciweimao, I never thought I would easily hit the ceiling.

But since I have, there’s nothing I can do. If you enjoy the benefits of a small website, you also have to bear its drawbacks.

If I hadn’t come to Ciweimao, I probably wouldn’t have written this book, and I wouldn’t have spent these past three or four years with everyone.
