“Heh, as if I ate your girl.” The Herrscher of Thunder let out a cold laugh, then slowly closed her eyes. “I’ve given her back to you. And next time we meet, it won’t end so easily.”

Kiana, dozing on the soft seat of the Maybach, rolled over and grumbled impatiently, “Who is it? Making so much noise with renovations in broad daylight. Can’t they have some public decency?”
