The Oro Jackson sailed across the vast ocean. Oden was engrossed in deciphering the rubbing of the Poneglyph. Suddenly, he snapped his head up, yelling excitedly:

“Found it! The Poneglyph is right—”

He unfolded an old sea chart, pointing to a certain sea area.

“Here!”

Roger leaned closer, raising an eyebrow. “Hmm? Hasn’t this sea area been recently occupied by Charlotte Linlin?”

Rayleigh pushed up his glasses, his tone calm but with a hint of gravity. “If the intelligence is correct… this is indeed Charlotte Linlin’s territory now.”

The deck instantly fell silent for a moment.

“Charlotte Linlin?!” Jabba whistled. “That crazy woman is not to be trifled with.”

Shanks and Buggy exchanged glances, whispering, “Who’s ‘Big Mom’?”

Rett leaned lazily against the ship’s rail, blood mist swirling at his fingertips. “A monster who loves sweets. Her abilities are quite troublesome.”

Jabba perked up and said to the three youngsters, “That was before you guys joined the crew. Your big brother Rett, he was an absolute powerhouse back then! Charlotte Linlin was still a Rocks pirate. She came to recruit us, and do you think your big brother Rett would just let that happen? He grabbed his greatsword and charged in! It was a world-shaking, ghost-crying battle of blades!”

Shanks and Buggy’s eyes gleamed. “Sugoi!”

“And he fought for so long he couldn’t even scratch her! I mean, even if you just peeled off the skin, it should’ve come off! In the end, didn’t I have to step in? I descended like a god, rescuing Rett from the clutches of danger!”

Rett threw his water cup at Jabba. “Shut up, you idiot! You didn’t even break her defense either! What are you barking about?”

Jabba wiggled like a piece of seaweed. “Yo yo yo yo yo, someone seems to be getting angry out of shame, huh?”

“Damn you, Jabba, let’s duel!” Rett charged forward with Kuroshio.

After the farce ended,

The entire Roger Pirates crew gathered on the deck, beginning to discuss their strategy.

Uncle Rayleigh was as reliable as ever. “Charlotte Linlin’s territory is heavily guarded, but if we quietly infiltrate, we might be able to blend in, find the stone tablet, quickly make a rubbing, and leave. That could reduce some unnecessary trouble.”

Jabba was doubtful. “The problem is, she’s also a master, and her Observation Haki isn’t weak. If we’re discovered, we’ll be swarmed by pirates from all of Totto Land.”

Rett said lazily, “And her Homies (soul constructs) are everywhere. Trying to sneak in silently… that’s difficult.”

Spencer thought for a moment, then offered his opinion. “We also have some rare navigation data and treasures. Perhaps we could trade with her?”

Roger shook his head. “Kuhahaha! We just made enemies at God Valley. That crazy old hag won’t hand it over easily.”

Oden raised his hand and spoke, “Then let’s just steal it directly! There’s no such thing as cowardice in a samurai’s dictionary.”

Roger seemed a little excited. Due to Rett’s intervention, Roger hadn’t contracted his terminal illness yet. It was important to remember that Roger was still at his peak strength, absolutely fearless at this time.

“We’ll just fight our way in, grab it, and run! Wouldn’t that be incredibly thrilling?”

Rayleigh shook his head helplessly. “Captain, her forces are expanding, and she has many strong subordinates. Forcing our way in is too risky.”

Roger seemed to be having some second thoughts. Rett listened to Rayleigh’s explanation and watched Roger’s reaction.

So, that’s how they stole it in the original story. It seemed that when Roger clashed with Big Mom in the original timeline, he was already suffering from his terminal illness, and his strength was declining. But with Rett’s intervention, Roger hadn’t contracted the illness, and it seemed Big Mom’s storyline was also moving up. However, Rett felt it was really unnecessary.

Roger, Rayleigh, Jabba, plus himself, oh, and Oden who would join later – fighting a Big Mom who hadn’t fully developed her Whole Cake Island yet would be a piece of cake.

It was the same principle as God Valley. As long as Charlotte Linlin couldn’t stop any one of them, it would be an indiscriminate slaughter. Her few eldest children probably wouldn’t be enough to handle them.

Rett casually suggested, “I think we can just go in and beat them into submission, then take our time with the rubbing.”

Jabba grinned. “Besides, when has our Roger Pirates ever been afraid of a tough fight?”

Roger slammed his fist down. “Kuhahaha! It’s settled then! We’ll just charge in, grab the Poneglyph, and run!”

In this cheerful atmosphere, it was decided that Roger, Rayleigh, and Jabba would directly confront Charlotte Linlin and her main executives. Oden would take advantage of the chaos to find the Poneglyph and make a rubbing.

And Rett? He would use his blood mist to seal off the battlefield, performing large-scale crowd control. Shanks, Buggy, and the other crew members would stay on the ship to prevent any pirates from boarding, as having too many people go ashore wouldn’t be very useful.

Numbers were meaningless in front of Rett. Anyone who couldn’t even enter Rett’s blood mist wasn’t worthy of stepping onto the battlefield.

Rayleigh gave a final confirmation. “Remember, our goal is the Poneglyph, not a fight to the death. Get the item and retreat immediately!”

“This is going to infuriate Charlotte Linlin,” Rett grumbled, still annoyed about not being able to break her defense.

Roger laughed loudly and shouted, “Understood! Little ones, prepare for battle!”

All crew members (shouting): “Ooh—!!!”

Sailing to Whole Cake Island,

The Oro Jackson cut through the waves, heading towards Charlotte Linlin’s territory.

Shanks and Buggy lay propped on the bow, both nervous and excited.

Buggy swallowed, asking, “Hey, Shanks, do you think we can win this time? I heard that Charlotte Linlin is a great pirate just like our Captain.”

Shanks casually clasped his hands behind his head. “Of course! With Captain here, Big Brother Rett here, and Uncle Rayleigh and Uncle Jabba, there’s no way we can lose!”

Rett stood at the stern, blood mist slowly spreading, his eyes sharp.

“Charlotte Linlin… Let me see if your ‘Whole Cake Island’ can stop my mist. Damn it, why can’t she take damage? It’s so annoying.”

The Oro Jackson tore through the sea mist, its figurehead cutting through the calm surface. From the crow’s nest, Shanks excitedly waved his straw hat: “I see the island!”

“Full speed ahead!” Roger stood at the bow, his red coat flapping in the wind. “Let Charlotte’s brats see what a real pirate is!”

“Enemy attack—!” On the watchtower of Whole Cake Island’s coastline, the lookout’s voice changed pitch. “It’s the Roger Pirates! All hands to battle stations!”

Alarm bells rang throughout the island. Charlotte Linlin, who was napping, was startled awake, sweet cream sliding from the corner of her mouth: “Mama Mama~? Roger, that madman?”

“Act according to plan!” Rayleigh pushed up his glasses, then shot into the air with Moonwalk.

Rett was the last to disembark, his greatsword Kuroshio dragging a deep furrow in the sand. “Oden, the Poneglyph is in your hands.”

“Leave it to me!” Oden drew his twin swords, Ame-no-Habakiri glinting coldly in the sunlight.

“Mist Realm: Blood Prison!” Rett formed hand signs, and scarlet mist surged like a tide across the beach. The mochi soldiers who were assembling suddenly screamed:

“My eyes! My eyes hurt so much!”

“Breathing… I can’t breathe!”

“It’s poison mist! Retreat quickly!”

Actually, Conqueror’s Haki could achieve the same effect, but Conqueror’s Haki was a one-time burst, whereas Rett’s mist, once released, could persist indefinitely.

The few youngsters watched the cool scene with shining eyes. Rett smugly adjusted his clothes, thinking, “Basic move, no need to be impressed.”

[User of the Mist Mist Fruit] [Acid and Base Corrosion] [Veteran of Roger's Pirates] [Participated in the Valley of the Gods] [Ghost in the Mist] [Men should play with greatswords] [The mist may drain life] "I hope it's the Straw Hats... I hope it's the Straw Hats..." He put his hands together and prayed, and suddenly realized something, "Wait, what if it's the Blackbeard Pirates? We don't even know the timeline now, let's wait and see. If I can't tell, I'll run." The ship gradually approached, and Rhett narrowed his eyes. A young man in a straw hat stood on the bow, and next to him was a blond man with glasses. The distance was too far to see the face clearly, but the straw hat... "Luffy! It's Luffy!" Wright was so excited that he danced with joy, "I knew the river god wouldn't be so deceiving!" Wright was so excited to see the straw hat, when the boat docked, Wright rushed forward: "Luffy! Zoro! I missed you guys so much!" The young man in the straw hat was confused: "Who is Luffy?" The blond man pushed his glasses: "My name is Rayleigh, and he is Roger." During our long journey, Wright seemed to have not changed at all, he was still as handsome as ever. During the war at the top, the blood mist shrouded Marinford, and a pair of blood-red eyes appeared in the mist, "What are you going to do to my lovely nephew?"
