“Are you awake? It seems you’re the worst among this batch of people!” Ollivander vaguely heard a voice. He regained consciousness from his daze, opened his wrinkled eyelids, and looked at Lin Dong, who was squatting beside him, feeling a bit dizzy.

“Uh, I don’t understand Chinese!” Ollivander said hesitantly. As an old British wizard, he really didn’t know much Chinese.

In fact, it was already quite remarkable that he could tell Lin Dong was speaking Chinese, rather than mistaking it for Japanese or Korean. This showed that he had lived a long time and had seen a lot of battles.

Lin Dong shook his head, stood up, and complained softly in Chinese, “It’s so awkward when no one gets the joke!”

“I repeat, I don’t understand Chinese…” Ollivander struggled to stand up, rummaged through a cabinet, pulled out a small bottle of magical potion, and gulped it down.

“Did you cast a revitalization spell on me?” Ollivander asked Lin Dong after drinking the potion. His complexion had visibly improved, and he was feeling his body’s condition.

Lin Dong could feel the life essence and healing energy contained within that potion. It wasn’t a stimulant or anything of the sort, but rather a medicine that nourished the body and repaired damage.

This kind of medicine could significantly prolong a wizard’s lifespan and keep them healthy. Ollivander was a hundred years old yet still healthy, with good bones and even decent eyesight.

“However, I did cast a revitalization spell, but I’m not sure if I cast it correctly, as I don’t have much research on current British spells,” Lin Dong shrugged and replied.

The revitalization spell Lin Dong cast was one he had unintentionally memorized a long time ago when watching the Harry Potter movies. He had re-cast the spell using his precise control as a magic master.

It wasn’t that Lin Dong didn’t want to cast other healing magic; the main reason was that most of the magic he had learned wasn’t particularly good at healing, especially the magic he learned from the Marvel world, which basically had no healing ability. Doctor Strange, in his original timeline, had very high magical cultivation, yet still couldn’t restore his hands to their original dexterity.

If he wanted to recover his hands, he would have to sacrifice his magic, letting it operate in place of his nervous system, to make himself normal.

So, Lin Dong’s healing spells were relatively lacking. Although he later created many healing spells in the Main God Space, they ultimately couldn’t compare to this world.

The technological gap between wizards and Muggles in the HP world was simply too vast, an insurmountable chasm.

Leaving aside other things, just concerning healing, for ordinary people, a shrapnel fragment could lead to a lifelong disability in their leg. And Doctor Strange in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, even after countless surgeries that cost him his fortune after his hands were injured, still couldn’t stop the tremor in his hands.

But wizards were completely different. Unless struck by certain powerful dark magic, no matter how severely injured a person was, as long as they were still breathing and there was an excellent healer nearby, that person would definitely be fully restored.

Physical damage to the body was really not a big deal for wizards in this world. Harry Potter had an entire arm bone missing, and it grew back overnight after drinking a potion.

Lin Dong hadn’t forgotten his purpose in coming to this world: potions, materials, novel magic—those were what he wanted.

Especially healing magic, which Lin Dong was relatively lacking in. He either used the Blue Lantern Ring to heal people, or some rather expensive magical potions, or he simply used time reversal directly.

“You actually threw a spell you’ve never used before at me?” Ollivander immediately became anxious. “Aren’t you afraid of accidents?”

“No, don’t worry!” Lin Dong shrugged. He was quite confident in himself and wouldn’t make the kind of low-level mistakes that only young wizards would make.

“Don’t worry? I certainly won’t. You must master most of the spells currently circulating in society before we can talk about exchanging knowledge!” Ollivander loudly proclaimed, then rummaged through a cabinet and pulled out a few somewhat tattered books.

These books all appeared to be handwritten, with archaic and strict words, and their covers read: [Methods for Tanning Wand Cores], [Selection and Transplantation of Wand Woods], [Observation of Compatibility Between Wand Cores and Wand Woods], and so on.

“These are my records from the past century. I originally intended to leave them to my son, but since you’ve shown your sincerity first, I should also express mine…” Ollivander placed a thick stack of books in front of Lin Dong, who didn’t stand on ceremony and reached out to take them.

“Wait a moment!” Ollivander seemed to remember something and quickly stopped Lin Dong. Then he pulled a piece of paper from the table and hastily wrote something on it with a quill. He wrote extremely fast but maintained a very neat handwriting, as if it had been printed by a computer.

[Complete Transfiguration]

[Complete Standard Spells]

[Magical Theory]

And in the corner of the paper, Ollivander also simply wrote a sentence and signed his surname.

[Don’t fool him, I’ll check! —Ollivander]

Ollivander’s name symbolized many things. He signed his name to prevent the bookstore owner from noticing that Lin Dong was wealthy and then recommending a bunch of random, long-unsold books to him.

Ollivander handed the slip of paper to Lin Dong, then looked at him seriously. “You need to go to Flourish and Blotts and hand this slip to the owner there; he’ll sort you out.” Ollivander instructed, then explained his reasons for doing so to Lin Dong.

“I can see traces of magic from many millennia ago in your magic, but only by learning some modern magic and laying a foundation can you attempt wand making.”

“Of course, I intended to learn these spells anyway!” Lin Dong nodded and said.

“That’s good. Oh, by the way, don’t try to use the books immediately after you get them. I’ll teach you to prevent any spell errors, as spell errors can lead to big problems,” Ollivander said, then he thought for a moment and added, “Also, I hope you won’t use me as a spell experiment again.” After saying that, Ollivander plopped down on a chair and began happily flipping through Lin Dong’s magic books, curiously examining the spells within.

Lin Dong sighed helplessly, not refuting anything, and picked up the slip of paper, ready to leave.

“Hey! Wait, wait!” As soon as Lin Dong stepped out of the shop, Ollivander shouted loudly. Then Lin Dong saw the old man panting, holding the stack of wand-making books he had just taken out.

“You should have an item storage device, right? These things are better off with you…” Ollivander said, handing the large stack of books to Lin Dong, who held them effortlessly with his left hand; the weight of the books was nothing to him.

“Oh, and this too!” Ollivander pulled a badge from his pocket. The badge looked very simple: a capital letter O and a stick that looked like a wand beside it.

“This is my family crest, which can also be given to important friends!” Ollivander poked the letter on the badge. It was clear that the letter O represented his surname, Ollivander.

“You’re new here and probably don’t know anyone. I have some influence in this country. Take this to prevent some idiots from giving you trouble.” Ollivander placed the badge in Lin Dong’s right palm, then without another word, returned to his shop.

Lin Dong looked at the stack of books in his left hand and the badge in his right palm, shrugged, activated the storage function of his magic ring, put all these items inside, and then walked towards Flourish and Blotts.

Flourish and Blotts was the largest magical bookstore in Diagon Alley; almost all Hogwarts students came here to buy their textbooks (except for the poor).

However, shortly after Lin Dong arrived at Flourish and Blotts, he felt a deep malice from the world.

The alerts on his watch rang frantically, and the world’s vigilance began to soar rapidly: 10%, 20%, 30%, 40%.

“What the heck, I haven’t even done anything yet!” Lin Dong was completely bewildered!
