The crisis was temporarily over, and everyone was cheering and shouting excitedly.

In the distance, Doctor Strange sat on the ground, exhausted. His Lantern Ring’s energy was depleted, and his spirit felt as if it had been drained, leaving him extremely uncomfortable. He couldn’t even maintain his Green Lantern uniform, revealing the surgical scrubs he wore underneath.

Then, a warm blue light shone upon him, trying its best to restore his stamina. The light, symbolizing hope, could replenish any ring’s energy and possessed some healing abilities.

Doctor Strange was enveloped in the blue light of hope. His dry Lantern Ring energy was gradually replenished, and his weary spirit slowly recovered. He looked at Captain America gratefully.

Thor, in the distance, glanced inadvertently and saw Doctor Strange in his white coat.

“Strange???” Thor exclaimed in surprise. He immediately ran to Doctor Strange’s side, scrutinizing him from head to toe.

“How can it be you?” Thor was very surprised. Thor… or rather, his alias Sigurd Garlson, as a firefighter, had met the legendary figure in the medical field, Stephen Strange, a year ago.

But their relationship wasn’t good. Strange would always seize every opportunity to mock him and attack his intelligence.

Unfortunately… Strange would always win.

“How can it be me?” Doctor Strange once again looked at Thor with that condescending, scrutinizing gaze. “Your foolishness has once again opened my eyes, Sigurd.”

“Hey! You were wearing a hood back then, it’s normal that I didn’t recognize you!” Thor said somewhat annoyed, his green Lantern Ring on his finger materializing a hammer, which he provocatively swung around in his hand.

“Oh? Normal? That hood didn’t even cover my eyes, and you couldn’t recognize me? I’m Stephen Strange, not Marcus Milton! No one can recognize him with glasses on!” Doctor Strange mocked again, even beginning to vividly imitate Thor’s previous words and actions.

“Hey! Hello, I’m Thor… I am the God of Thunder!” Doctor Strange mimicked Thor’s previous self-introduction, the mocking look in his eyes making Thor feel his anger flaring up again.

But Doctor Strange did find it incredibly amusing. Among the crowd present, Thor was the one he was most familiar with. Yet, simply because he was wearing a hood, Thor, who was face-blind, failed to recognize him. He even brazenly walked up to him and introduced himself, and then Doctor Strange even said his surname, but this guy actually thought it was some hero name or something.

This made Doctor Strange doubt Thor’s intelligence even more.

“Hey! Calm down! We’re on the same side, nobody wants a civil war!” Captain America stepped forward, stopping their argument.

“Everyone, does anyone want to grab some food? My treat!” Iron Man, Tony Stark, shouted from a distance.

But the reaction from the crowd was not as enthusiastic as he hoped. Ancient One smiled, opened a portal in the air, and returned to Kamar-Taj. Doctor Strange glowed and ascended into the air, preparing to return to the hospital to explain his new look to Christine. Before leaving, he shot Thor another mocking glance.

Loki, on the other hand, was heading to the city’s evacuation point to pick up his daughter.

Thor had to revert to his mortal identity and report to his workplace to avoid being listed as a missing person.

Jane Foster had to go to S.H.I.E.L.D. for follow-up work. Dr. Banner would go with her, trying to persuade government officials to lift the warrant for his arrest.

Seeing that everyone had something to do, Tony could only look at his magic mentor, Lin Dong. But Lin Dong shrugged and opened a golden portal in front of him.

“I also need to go to Kamar-Taj to discuss the issue of the Sorcerer Supreme position,” Lin Dong sighed.

“You’re going to inherit the title of Sorcerer Supreme?” Tony asked in surprise.

“Do you want it? I can give it to you!” Lin Dong asked.

“Uh, I think I’ll pass…” Tony waved his hand. Managing a large company (???) was already tiring enough. Managing a group of unruly, yet not very capable, sorcerers on top of that?

Spare him.

Seeing this, Lin Dong smiled helplessly, closed the portal, and vanished in a flash of golden light.

Tony looked at the crowd that had vanished in an instant, then turned to Steve beside him.

“Hey, Cap, have you ever had shawarma before?”

Steve paused: “Uh, no!”

“Coincidentally, neither have I! So I want to try it!” Tony said.

————————

In the tranquil expanse of space, a strangely shaped spaceship was slowly navigating.

“Bang—”

With a loud crash, Proxima Midnight was sent flying by a massive force, slamming hard against the metal wall.

She fell to the ground weakly, multiple fractures making it impossible for her to stand.

“You traitors, you shameful traitors!” Proxima Midnight gritted her teeth, glaring fiercely at Black Dwarf and Corvus Glaive in front of her.

“Oh, oh, oh! My dear, don’t say that,” Corvus Glaive, with the gauntlet case on his back, softly brought his mouth close to Proxima Midnight’s ear, like the sweet nothings they used to whisper when they were intimate.

“We aren’t betraying, because we were never loyal from the start!” Corvus Glaive whispered. “We have the Reality Stone, we have the Infinity Gauntlet. Why should we continue to follow that madman?”

“With this gauntlet, we can do anything we want, we can conquer the entire galaxy, we can have whatever we desire!” Corvus Glaive stood up, shouting loudly, like a fanatical preacher proclaiming his god.

After Corvus Glaive and his allies obtained the Reality Stone, they used the Mother Box to leave Earth.

But contrary to Proxima Midnight’s expectations, Corvus Glaive did not teleport to Titan… no, it should be Apokolips.

They teleported into a spaceship, where many soldiers bribed by Corvus Glaive were waiting.

This was one of Corvus Glaive’s rebellion strongholds.

After receiving the Reality Stone, Corvus Glaive no longer wanted to work for Thanos. He was tired of constantly being under Thanos’s command. He wanted to rebel, and even replace him.

In the past, he lacked the power to start a rebellion, but now it was different. He had the Infinity Gauntlet and the Reality Stone. He could defeat Thanos and take his place. He wouldn’t be like Thanos, constantly trying to destroy half the life in the universe.

He would become the king of the entire universe, to rule them, to conquer them.

Behind Corvus Glaive, a large number of杂兵 (miscellaneous soldiers/henchmen) let out a chaotic cheer, shouting support for their new master.
