Something is wrong.

Lin Dong closed his eyes slightly, sitting cross-legged in the void. His spirit, guided by the simulated power of time, perceived fragments of the future.

Something was wrong. Lin Dong didn’t open his eyes. He placed his hands over his chest, muttering to himself.

Countless images flowed through his mind, and massive amounts of information continuously poured into his brain. Lin Dong’s spirit desperately tried to filter out the blurry information and some past events that clearly didn’t fit this timeline.

For instance, in one timeline, Odin gathered all six Infinity Stones four thousand years ago, placed them on the gauntlet in his treasury, and then, using the immense power of the Infinity Stones, ruled the entire universe.

This was a possibility in one timeline, something that might happen in some world, but it was impossible in Lin Dong’s current timeline; Odin was already dead.

This was the side effect of traversing the river of time: too many possibilities, too many branches of future and past. Most importantly, you couldn’t just press a button and intelligently cancel all irrelevant worldlines.

But Lin Dong truly felt that something was wrong, so he was searching, searching among the nearly infinite timelines.

“Boom—” A blinding white lightning bolt descended from the sky, instantly killing a large group of Chitauri soldiers around Lin Dong. Jane Foster, holding Mjolnir in one hand, unleashed a torrent of lightning, while her other hand transformed into a white noise cannon, blasting distant enemies.

“Does this guy often turn into this?” Jane Foster asked through her communicator. The thrusters on her back suddenly intensified, lifting her into the air. With a graceful turn, her left arm, transformed into a white noise cannon, fired, reducing the attacking enemies to ashes.

Beside her, Lin Dong, who should have been displaying his might, sat cross-legged in the air, muttering to himself.

“He seems to have seen something, possibly information related to the future,” Tony Stark’s voice echoed in the communication channel.

“I suggest you don’t disturb him, but if you can’t hold on, I believe Sorcerer Supreme Ancient One or Captain America will lend you a hand!” Tony shrugged in the distance, his left arm firing a powerful EMP shockwave, clearing out the minor enemies guarding the large mothership, covering Captain America who was charging into the mothership. “But I can’t help you; I can’t even get close to you with the gem!”

“Alright, then I’ll just have to watch this guy slack off…” Jane Foster sighed helplessly, gripping Mjolnir in her right hand. She then ascended high into the sky, raising the hammer high, drawing upon the powerful lightning force in nature. Under her control, the sky suddenly turned pitch black, and strong winds whipped her red cape, making it flap fiercely. Then Jane Foster pointed the hammer at her target, and countless lightning bolts shot directly from the dark clouds, illuminating the dark sky and reaping the Chitauri soldiers who seemed to be endless.

“Shit!!!” Lin Dong suddenly opened his eyes.

He saw it, the future changing again.

A fierce light burst from Lin Dong’s fingertips, yellow, green, and blue forming a strong contrast. This ray spread across the entire battlefield, instantly clearing all enemies in front of him.

“Jane Foster, go to New York immediately! These bastards opened a hole in New York!” Lin Dong shouted loudly into the communicator.

Then Lin Dong accelerated again, his body transforming into a stream of light, yellow, green, and blue enveloping his body. He directly crashed into the giant mothership in the sky, easily smashing a hole through it and drilling inside.

Immediately after, a strong light suddenly burst forth, and three-colored rays extended in all directions, like invincible blades, easily slicing the mothership into pieces.

“Hurry, Jane! Go to New York, stop them from getting the Reality Stone!” Lin Dong’s voice rang out again. Jane Foster was stunned for a moment, then nodded. Closing her eyes slightly, the blue Space Stone on her forehead glowed intensely, and her body suddenly plunged into a wormhole, instantly traveling from New Mexico to New York City.

And above the blonde little girl’s head, a piece of a collapsed house was falling towards her.

It was as if death was approaching.

But the next moment, a tall blonde man fiercely protected the little girl. A large amount of building debris buried them both, but due to the man’s support, a small space was propped up within the debris.

The building debris was so heavy, amounting to tens of tons, yet the man in the firefighter’s uniform miraculously held it up. Although the debris had buried them both, and veins bulged on the man’s face and his muscles swelled, the little girl would be safe until the man could no longer hold on.

“Who are you?” the blonde girl asked softly, looking up.

“I’m a firefighter!” the blonde man managed to say, using his arms to firmly support the collapsing debris, protecting her from harm.

“I meant, your name,” the little girl probed.

“My name… what is it?” The man froze for a moment.

“My name… is Sigurd… Sigurd Garlson…” the man murmured to himself.

“No… that’s not right…” The man shook his head again.

“That’s not my real name, what is my real name…” The man desperately tried to think, to remember.

In an instant, he finally remembered.

He remembered his identity, he remembered his past, he remembered his power.

“My name?” Streaks of electric light flashed in the blonde man’s eyes. He slowly stood up, the heavy building debris seemingly no longer able to weigh him down.

“THOR!”

“My name is Thor!”

“I am the God of Thunder!”

A green light flew from high in the sky and attached itself to his finger.
