In faraway Kathmandu, Nepal, a traveler from a distant land arrived outside an ordinary courtyard and knocked on the unassuming wooden door.

“Knock, knock, knock…”

A crisp sound echoed as the traveler patiently waited outside. After a moment, the wooden door opened.

“Lin? Master Lin?” The person who opened the door said with a surprised tone. “You’re back?”

Lin Dong nodded, a smile on his face.

“Long time no see!” he said.

In the reception room, Master Ancient One brewed him a cup of hot tea, and they began to chat about the changes over the past few years.

“Kaecilius eventually left. I thought I could quell his sorrow, his fear of death, but in the end, I was wrong,” Master Ancient One sighed, speaking with a hint of helplessness.

“No one was hurt, right?” Lin Dong took a sip of tea, then set down his cup. He wasn’t accustomed to this honey-sweetened English tea, especially since Master Ancient One, perhaps due to her increasing age, seemed to add more and more honey to her tea. She didn’t seem to fear getting diabetes.

“It’s alright. Kaecilius and a few followers broke into the library, knocked out the librarian, and took a few books that I wouldn’t recommend reading.” Ancient One sighed, took a spoon, and added a small spoonful of milk to her own teacup. She looked at Lin Dong, seemingly asking if he wanted some too.

Lin Dong quickly waved his hand, indicating he didn’t need any. He wasn’t particularly fond of tea, even Chinese tea was a bit hard for him to get used to, let alone this even stranger-tasting English tea.

“It’s good that no one was hurt. The reason I came this time, actually, is to ask for help from the various Sanctums.” Lin Dong nodded, stating the purpose of his visit.

“Help?” Master Ancient One was taken aback. “Is a major change about to happen in the future? Is it the Dark Elves?”

“You know?” Lin Dong looked up in surprise. In the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe, all superhumans were significantly weakened compared to the comics. Master Ancient One was no exception, so Lin Dong was very surprised that she could see the future.

“Yes, following your insights, I comprehended a time spell for peering into the future from the Eye of Agamotto. However, this spell is very unstable, and the future is constantly changing, making it difficult for me to accurately foresee it.”

Master Ancient One stood up and walked towards the Sanctum Sanctorum Library, which connected Kamar-Taj to the other Sanctums. As she walked, she explained her insights to Lin Dong.

“Prophecy magic?” Lin Dong was somewhat amazed. Ancient One had actually developed a prophecy spell that didn’t require the help of the Time Stone, which made Lin Dong sigh with admiration.

“We’ve arrived.” Master Ancient One stopped. They had reached the center of the library, the place where the Eye of Agamotto was stored, and where the three great Sanctums were connected.

Master Ancient One stood beneath a magical artifact resembling a globe. Then, with a casual flick of her hand in the air, the magical artifact above them immediately glowed with golden light.

The golden light then transformed into several threads, projecting onto the ground, and the figures of several sorcerers materialized through the golden light.

This method was similar to AR [Augmented Reality technology]. In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the World Security Council often used this method for secret communications with S.H.I.E.L.D.

And Kamar-Taj clearly possessed such a method, albeit a magical version.

“Respected Master Ancient One, may we ask why you have simultaneously summoned us three great Sanctums?” The guardians of the three great Sanctums exchanged glances, and then Daniel Drumm, the guardian of the New York Sanctum, stepped forward to speak.

These Sanctum sorcerers spoke with respect, but in reality, they showed little sign of it. Instead, they wore displeased expressions, as if annoyed by Master Ancient One’s disturbance.

“This world is facing a great crisis. The three great Sanctums must unite to resist the approaching invaders,” Master Ancient One said solemnly.

“Invaders?” The current leaders of the three great Sanctums exchanged glances, then turned their gaze back to Master Ancient One, even looking malevolently at Lin Dong, who stood behind her.

“Master Ancient One, we don’t quite understand. The warning artifacts haven’t detected any external dimensional invasion. I don’t understand who you mean by ‘invaders’…”

Master Ancient One was a little helpless, but she patiently explained to them.

“Soon, the Dark Elves, once defeated by the Asgardians, will return and invade Earth. They have always sought to destroy the Nine Realms and plunge them into eternal darkness,” Master Ancient One explained to the leaders of the great Sanctums.

“So, all of us sorcerers must unite to resist these invaders, to stop the Dark Elves’ threat to Earth, and to do our best to save more civilians!” Lin Dong interjected, stating the purpose of their visit.

“Dark Elves?” The leaders of the great Sanctums remained silent, secretly communicating with each other through magic. Master Ancient One, out of respect, did not pry into what they were discussing. But Lin Dong had no such taboos; he couldn’t be bothered with such niceties. He directly used a spell to tap into their telepathic communication frequency and discreetly listened to their conversation.

Master Ancient One, standing nearby, seemed to sense Lin Dong’s method, but she didn’t expose him. Although she respected these Sanctum guardians, she didn’t force others to respect them in the same way.

When Lin Dong heard this, it infuriated him.

These guys weren’t discussing how to better protect Earth or how to deal with the Dark Elves. Instead, they were discussing the true meaning behind Master Ancient One’s actions.

“Is she planning to reclaim her authority?” the leader of the London Sanctum “whispered,” guessing.

“The three great Sanctums are gradually slipping from her control. This is likely a conspiracy for her to reclaim her authority!” the sorcerer from the Hong Kong Sanctum also said.

“But nominally, the three great Sanctums must obey the Supreme Sorcerer’s commands. It was the first Supreme Sorcerer who established the three great Sanctums and Kamar-Taj; we must obey her orders,” the New York sorcerer said, frowning in the mental space.

Everyone has a desire for power, and sorcerers are no exception.

The first Supreme Sorcerer, Agamotto, established the three great Sanctums as nodes to resist crises and built Kamar-Taj as a backup support for the three great Sanctums.

However, the problem is that this world is never short of fools. They always treat everything as a power grab or a trade-off of interests. Such people don’t understand what responsibility is, what the future is, or what a hero is.

Most importantly, this group of people simply doesn’t understand what power is!

Lin Dong snorted coldly. A powerful torrent of magic poured into their telepathic communication space like a waterfall, overwhelmingly shattering the temporary mental space they had established. After their mental space was shattered, the three sorcerers suffered immense spiritual trauma. They cried out in pain, clutching their heads, and collapsing to the ground, their holographic projections, constructed from golden magic, flickering unstably.

“You are all a bunch of idiots. Staying in high positions for so long, I’m afraid you’ve forgotten your own names. You are sorcerers, guardians of Earth, not politicians!” Lin Dong said with a look of disdain.
