Inside Tony Stark’s seaside villa, in his personal laboratory.

A golden stream of light appeared out of thin air, rapidly spinning and forming a spatial portal at an incredibly fast speed.

Lin Dong stepped out of the spatial portal, followed by a stunned Bruce Banner! He looked blankly at the slowly dissipating golden spatial portal behind him, then excitedly strode to the window, gazing at the sea view outside.

“Where are we?” Dr. Banner murmured, looking at the rolling waves, the hard rocks, and the clear blue sky in the distance.

“Malibu coast. This is Tony Stark’s home! And also one of his more important laboratories,” Lin Dong said with a smile.

“How did you do that? That spatial portal, how did you move thousands of kilometers in an instant? How could you possibly afford the powerful energy required to create a spatial channel? And that ability you showed before, taking out the watch? Is that a spatial device? How did you compress it into a tiny ring?” Dr. Bruce Banner shouted incredulously, desperately asking questions, as if his decades of learning had been in vain.

“Magic!” Lin Dong shrugged.

“Ma… magic?” Dr. Banner’s eyes widened, looking as if Lin Dong must be fooling him.

Lin Dong pursed his lips. He was too lazy to explain so much to Bruce Banner. Although Banner was intelligent enough, it seemed that no matter which world, Bruce Banner was always out of luck with magic.

Seeing that Lin Dong was reluctant to speak, Bruce Banner didn’t ask further but somewhat cautiously began to explore the luxurious villa.

“So, our other teammate is Iron Man, then?” Bruce Banner asked, curiously examining the more than fifty rings stored in Stark’s magic laboratory.

“That’s right, Iron Man Tony Stark,” Lin Dong shrugged.

Suddenly, a golden circular portal reappeared in the room, and Tony Stark stepped out of it.

Behind him was a man in a blue energy suit, carrying a star-spangled shield on his back.

“Lin???” The man with the shield saw Lin Dong’s face and shouted in surprise.

“Hi! Steve!” Lin Dong smiled and waved at him.

“Long time no see!”

———

Inside a HYDRA base.

Strucker stared intently at the yellow gem placed in the container.

The gem pulsed and trembled like a peculiar heart, like a thinking brain, constantly cheering.

Two years ago, Strucker captured a mysterious man who had fallen from the sky. He imprisoned him and tried to study his body structure.

The powerful energy contained within his body, his tough skin, and his long lifespan were all desperately needed by the aging Strucker.

Unfortunately, due to their lack of understanding of this creature, they eventually let him escape. Before leaving, he killed a large number of research personnel in the lab. Strucker, at the critical moment, decisively hid beneath several corpses, using them to conceal himself, and immediately took some kind of suspended animation drug, successfully deceiving the special creature’s senses and surviving in that freezer.

Not long after, the teleportation phenomenon reappeared. This time, HYDRA didn’t find a person but found a peculiar yellow gem.

It possessed extremely powerful abilities, capable of controlling almost all thoughts, representing the power of the mind.

Unfortunately, this power was not a harmless AA battery. The energy was extremely difficult to guide, let alone used to control others.

They excavated some strange metal fragments at the site. After piecing the fragments together, they formed the shape of a scepter.

Regrettably, the scepter was only half complete.

According to analysis, that scepter should be the tool for guiding the power within the gem, but since the scepter was incomplete, it could only serve as a reference.

So Strucker couldn’t use the gem’s power to control others’ minds and directly reach the peak of his power.

But Strucker found a way to bypass the limitation. They couldn’t perfectly control the energy within the gem, nor could they create a controlling device. So they found a way to bypass this limitation by crudely extracting the energy to stimulate human self-evolution.

The mortality rate of this method was undoubtedly very high, but Strucker didn’t care. Experiments always needed guinea pigs, didn’t they?

Strucker’s face showed delight as he looked at two transparent glass rooms in the distance, containing a man and a woman. They were both around twenty years old, very young, and looked somewhat similar. The man had short silver hair, huddled in a corner, his body trembling constantly. The woman, on the other hand, sat cross-legged on the ground, red light swirling around her hands. The light slowly extended outwards, wrapping around a small cube.

Then she suddenly tore it apart.

“This world is no longer what it used to be. Norse gods descend from the sky to the human world, ordinary people put on iron armor and soar into the sky, a scrawny doctor turns into a monster that destroys everything, and even a World War II veteran from seventy years ago revives from the ice,” Strucker’s eyes held a certain expectation, a certain longing.

He gazed intoxicated at the two siblings imprisoned in the glass cell. They would be the strongest force in his hands. He would use the power of these twins to completely control S.H.I.E.L.D.

He would control the entire world.

The next moment, darkness enveloped the entire base. The power seemed to have been cut off; lights went out, and computers shut down.

The base’s backup power activated within a few seconds, and light reappeared.

But the nearby computer emitted a strange “sizzling” sound.

On the completely black screen, a line of white text slowly appeared.

[Wolfgang von Strucker…]

[HYDRA…]

[I see you…]

The next moment, the computer began to smoke due to overclocking.

A piercing alarm suddenly blared. Screams, shouts, and countless gunshots came from outside the base. It seemed someone was attacking the base.

“Sir… we must evacuate immediately, sir,” a HYDRA soldier rushed over, his face panicked, and he seemed to be injured.

“What happened? How many intruders?” Strucker grabbed the soldier and demanded loudly.

“I… we can’t be sure, sir!” The soldier swallowed. “We couldn’t see clearly, but maybe, maybe…”

“Maybe there’s only one person…”

Strucker listened with a grim face, then pulled out his pistol and pressed it against the soldier’s forehead, his eyes filled with rage.

“One person, one person is enough to scare you like this?”

The soldier looked in terror at the pistol pressed against his forehead, fear in his eyes.

“Please… He’s wearing full-body metal armor, firearms have no effect on him, and he can fly, and he’s also taken control of all the base’s electronic equipment… We can’t find him at all.”

Strucker listened to the soldier’s response, frowned, and said softly, “Metal armor, can fly…”

“Could it be Tony Stark?”

The next moment, a silver figure descended from the sky, crashing through the ceiling with a “bang—” and hitting the ground. The figure was slightly crouched, cushioning some of the impact, and her right fist struck the ground. Her stylish superhero landing created cracks in the floor and stirred up dust.

“Fire!” Strucker shouted loudly, then moved the pistol from the nearby soldier’s head and continuously pulled the trigger at the descending object.

All the surrounding soldiers also obeyed his command, firing continuously. Gunpowder, shell casings, smoke, and noise enveloped the descending object.

Finally, the gunshots stopped.

Everyone watched tensely as the smoke slowly dissipated. A slender silver figure was crouched low, her body hidden behind a silver shield on her arm, easily blocking all incoming bullets.

Beneath the silver figure’s feet were crushed stone bricks from the intense impact of her landing. The shield on her arm deformed, retracting into her body. Then, she slowly straightened up, revealing her full appearance.

Her face had a full-coverage metal mask, with a shining blue gem on her forehead. Her body was made of the same silver metal, seemingly shaped from a peculiar active metal. These metals formed her feminine physique and gave her a touch of humanity.

The mask on her head made a slight sound, and the right half revealed human skin. It was a very beautiful woman.

“Tell me…” A slight smile appeared on her lips.

“Do I look like Tony Stark?”
