Let me show you a new way Chapter 100

“I finally understand the truth behind everything, the reason you’ve always favored Thor all these years. Because no matter how much you claim to love me, you could never let a Frost Giant sit on the throne of Asgard!” Loki glared at Odin, his heart filled with sorrow. His entire life had been a mistake, a Frost Giant adopted by Asgardians. A discarded tool.

“No… Loki… no…” Odin struggled, his body frail. Years of constant warfare had greatly diminished his strength, and the sadness in his heart after revealing the truth to Loki left him overwhelmed.

He then fell into a coma.

“Father! Father!” Loki cried out in a panic.

“I, Odin Borson! Hereby declare that you are no longer my son…”

“I banish you from Asgard!”

“No! Father, please, I can do it, please!”

Loki woke from his dream, tears at the corners of his eyes.

He couldn’t recall the exact images from the dream, but he remembered the grief, that war, the endless slaughter, death, and destruction.

Heimdall was dead, Asgard was occupied by the Dark Elves, and the Bifrost could not be opened. He could never return.

His father was controlled by the Dark Elves, intending to kill all the Asgardian royalty, which was why he had killed his own mother. But when facing Loki, he finally regained a moment of clarity, using a logical trap to banish Loki from Asgard, disowning him to protect him from harm.

But he didn’t want this kind of protection. He would rather fight alongside his father, rather die for Asgard.

Now, he might have to spend his entire life on Midgard, forever among mortals.

He couldn’t go back…

He couldn’t go back…

The next moment, he felt something. Nearby, a familiar sound and energy vibration emanated. He looked up at the sky. Clouds gathered, and in the center, it was as if a large hole had torn open. A rainbow beam of light descended from the sky, crashing down.

————————

Asgard, near the Bifrost.

Hela stood in front of the Bifrost control room door, launching dozens of sharp spikes from her arms. The spikes flew out swiftly, tearing through the air with a whistling sound, effortlessly piercing the invading Dark Elves. But these creatures seemed endless and fearless, surging like a tide. No matter how many Dark Elves Hela killed, it was like trying to put out a bonfire with a cup of water.

“Dark Elves, are we? I always thought my grandfather had wiped you out, which always made me regret not being able to fight you. But it seems grandfather didn’t clean up all you trash!” Hela scoffed, summoning two long swords with her divine power to block the incoming enemies. Then, with a spin, she easily cut the Dark Elves in front of her in half.

She had only just awakened from her seal, and her power was far from fully recovered. But as long as she stood on Asgardian soil, her divine power would recover faster and faster. When her power was fully restored, she could easily eradicate these Dark Elves, completing her grandfather’s unfinished work: destroying all races that threatened Asgard, and conquering all races useful to Asgard.

This was the desire for destruction embedded deep within her mind, the destruction desire of the Goddess of Death.

But the next moment, a scepter silently touched her back.

Behind her, the leader of the Dark Elves held a pointed scepter. A blue spherical gem was embedded in the scepter, emitting a warm blue light that slowly seeped into Hela’s body.

Her eyes slowly turned blue.

“Submit to me, destroy Asgard, and fight for me!” Malekith commanded Hela. The power within the gem quickly seized Hela’s mind, seemingly controlling her. ①

However, Hela did not respond.

Her body trembled, the blue in her eyes constantly encroaching, yet constantly being expelled. Her mind seemed to be engaged in an extremely dangerous confrontation. The power from the land of Asgard continuously helped her, resisting the forces trying to control her.

Malekith paused, he stepped forward to look at Hela’s eyes, then looked at the scepter in his hand with suspicion, as if wondering why it wasn’t working.

“This thing has never failed before…” Malekith muttered to himself in confusion, then raised the scepter again. The blue light on the scepter slowly gathered, and a powerful mind force began to prepare to invade Hela’s mind.

The scepter touched Hela’s forehead.

The power of the Mind Stone poured into Hela’s brain. The power was so immense, so unstoppable, that Hela, even with the power of all Asgard as her backing, could not resist. Her mind began to be eroded bit by bit, her eyes began to be dyed large patches of blue. Only in one corner, Hela’s unyielding mind, her powerful will, was still fighting its last battle.

Then, the power of both reached its peak. Like a powder keg, it trembled continuously, as if only one last straw was needed to crush Hela’s mind.

But Hela still persisted. Compared to her aging father, the still-young Hela was undoubtedly braver and stronger. Her will was incredibly firm.

Malekith, observing, looked at the scepter in his hand again. This scepter could even control Odin, how could it not control this woman who appeared out of nowhere?

Malekith picked up the scepter once more. The power on the scepter gathered again, then gently poked Hela’s mind.

It was like a powder keg being ignited.

“Boom—” The scepter in Malekith’s hand instantly exploded. The scepter was easily blown into two pieces, and the scepter head with the Mind Stone embedded in it struck Hela’s chest. The force of this explosion knocked Hela into the Bifrost control room, coincidentally activating the Bifrost, which automatically teleported her to the last known location.

And in Hela’s mind, the mind power brutally rushed into her brain. Her memories, psyche, emotions, personality—all these components of her mind were forcefully churned by the uncontrolled mind power.

Hela floated aimlessly within the Bifrost’s teleportation beam, her eyes closed. Her body gradually shrank, her memories dissipated, her mind was wiped clean like a blank slate, and her personality became like that of a child.

A black-haired girl floated within the Bifrost, teleported to Earth.

Teleported to Loki’s side.

————————

Loki rushed over, using magic to dispel the surrounding smoke and dust. Finally, he saw a sleeping, black-haired girl in the center of the Bifrost.

The girl slowly opened her eyes, which held a mix of confusion and bewilderment. She didn’t know who she was, where she was, or who she could rely on.

Then she saw him: a black-haired man who looked much like her approached, watching her with curious and cautious eyes.

“Are you… Papa?” Little Hela pouted, her eyes filled with anticipation and surprise.
