“How is this possible?” A researcher’s voice reached Loki’s ears. Under the dazzling lights, the researcher’s face was somewhat blurred.

“Its brain activity is still strong. It seems to be dreaming…” Another researcher said, looking at the brain activity detector. The fluctuating frequency on it was still very obvious.

“With this thing as a sample, we no longer need any super-soldier projects. As long as we thoroughly dissect this thing, we can arm a demigod army!” Strucker said, mesmerized, staring at Loki, who was fixed on the reclining chair.

“You have no idea what you’ve done!” Loki’s arm suddenly lifted, and the metal fixed to his arm was easily torn into several pieces. The metal, emitting a low-temperature chill, fell to the ground and easily shattered into fragments.

Loki slowly stood up, awakening from his painful memories.

Loki’s hands converged at his chest, and after a shift of light and shadow, a blue box appeared out of thin air in his palm.

“You should all die!” Loki opened the box, and an intense chill poured out from it. Loki’s appearance completely transformed into that of a Frost Giant. He had long ears and bluish-black skin, looking terrifying.

The intense cold quickly spread in all directions. Some guards pulled out their firearms and shot at him, but the bullets’ movement became extremely slow under the low temperature. Loki could easily deflect these bullets.

He casually destroyed the surrounding research instruments and all the computers, leaving the entire experimental base in a mess. A large number of guard soldiers outside heard the noise and rushed over.

However, when these soldiers entered the base with their guns, they were surprised to find that, apart from a world of ice and snow inside, there wasn’t a single living person.

And in another unnoticed place, a soldier walked out, head bowed.

“Pepper!” He smiled, his tone filled with relief and a hint of nostalgia for past times.

“Killian?” Pepper looked at the completely transformed Killian with some surprise. His image was entirely different from before.

“You look beautiful!” Killian said with a smile.

“Oh! Thank you! You look great too!” Pepper nodded and said.

“Didn’t you get a security badge?” Happy nearby couldn’t help but interrupt.

“Happy! It’s fine.” Pepper turned her head away helplessly and said.

“Are you sure?” Happy said, giving Killian a suspicious look, who was acting like a human… a very serious Killian.

“I’m sure, it’s fine!” Pepper said somewhat helplessly. She was at Stark Tower now, surrounded by countless of her own employees. What could possibly happen?

“Alright! I’ll stay nearby and won’t go far!” Happy glanced at Killian again before hesitantly leaving.

Happy sat on a single sofa nearby, watching Pepper and Killian’s interaction in the conference room with some vigilance. Then he picked up his tablet and connected to Tony Stark.

“Boss! Something’s not right!” He said to Tony on the screen.

“What’s wrong?” Tony Stark’s voice came from the screen. “Did you find someone else not wearing a badge?”

“Listen, listen! Pepper is talking to a tall, rich, handsome scientist right now, and they’re very close. That scientist is also demonstrating his brain with some high-tech equipment. I think something’s very wrong, you’d better come take a look!” Happy said quickly.

“Hey! Hey! Are you still there?” Happy shouted loudly, but there was no sound from the tablet. He started fiddling with the tablet in his hand, muttering, “Is this thing broken again?”

In a distant beach villa, a golden circle appeared in front of Tony Stark. On the other side of the circle was the small conference room of Stark Tower.

Tony waved his hand, and the golden light circle in front of him disappeared.

“If you dare to set your sights on Pepper…” Tony Stark muttered to himself. Then he took off a ring from his right hand, and with a casual wave, a ring placed in a distant glass cabinet quickly flew over and obediently landed on his right middle finger!

Then, he held one hand fixed in the air and rapidly slid the other hand through the air, quickly opening a golden portal.
