“Are you serious?” Bruce looked at his biological brother, utterly speechless.

“Oh, come on, Bruce, why so serious?” ② Thomas sighed.

“We’re on a mission…” Bruce still kept a straight face, looking at Thomas.

“Oh, yes, yes, on a mission…” Thomas replied listlessly. “Hmm, what was our mission again?”

“You…” Bruce took a deep breath, “Father told us at least three times before he left, didn’t you hear any of it?” ③

“Hear what?” Thomas looked up, meeting Bruce’s gaze with an innocent expression.

“Ah, my God!” Bruce pressed one hand to his head and leaned against the wall with the other, taking deep breaths, trying to calm the anger in his heart.

“Alright, listen carefully, we need to infiltrate the Iceberg Lounge to find evidence of Cobblepot’s money laundering, drug trafficking, blackmail, and gambling.”

Bruce patiently began to explain, using the shortest time and fastest speaking speed to clarify their objective, the layout of the place, and so on.

“Got it, got it!” Thomas said impatiently, “Hmm, a race to see who gets there first?” He looked at Bruce, issuing a challenge.

“Impressive time magic, Diana.” Shazam folded his arms, the faint lightning around him slowly receding. He landed on the ground, breathing the air scorched by energy.

“Diana, after this crisis ends, would you like to grab a drink with me?” ④

“Is that a date invitation?” Magic allowed the two, separated by thousands of miles, to communicate freely.

“I’m sorry, even if the crisis ends and we both survive, I won’t go on a date with you.” Diana shrugged, rejecting his invitation. “I have a boyfriend.”
