She wore a small swallow-tailed coat and sexy fishnet stockings. Her chest was ample, stretching her white low-cut shirt. She took off her magic hat, reached inside, pulled out a small wand, and waved it in the air. Faint starlight emerged, gradually forming a magical portal.

She stared at the portal in front of her, chanted a few spells, then tapped her high-heeled, over-the-knee boots on the ground, making thudding sounds. A burst of light spread out, activating the portal and opening a gateway to Gotham.

And in the more distant Mesopotamian plain, within a ruin hidden by time, a golden light suddenly erupted. Local researchers stared in astonishment at the golden light shooting up into the sky, their faces filled with confusion and bewilderment. ②

Lin Dong looked down at her but did not speak, instead gazing at the sky, waiting for something to arrive.

“Answer me!” Zatanna mustered her courage. She pointed her wand at Lin Dong’s body and shouted loudly.

“It’s here!” Lin Dong said.

Zatanna looked to the other side of the sky, where a golden light swiftly flew towards Lin Dong’s body, eager to pounce on him.

“Clang—” Lin Dong firmly grasped the incoming golden light, producing a peculiar metallic collision sound. The light was slowly suppressed by Lin Dong’s magic, revealing its true form.

This was the Helmet of Nabu, a classic character from DC Comics. Nabu is a Lord of Order, and his soul is hidden within this helmet. When someone wears this helmet, Nabu takes control of their body and transforms them into the powerful magic-wielding superhero, Doctor Fate.
