The red skull glanced towards the video’s angle, and a strange light enveloped the screen.

“Bang—” The video suddenly turned completely black.

“This is video data sent from the Arctic base a while ago.” S.H.I.E.L.D. Director Nick Fury’s face was grim as he looked at the agents sitting before him. “They were the team searching for Captain America, but they were invaded by unknown personnel. No one survived.”

“What is this? Nazi ghosts revived?” Hawkeye Clint Barton joked with a smile. But he glanced at the others present and saw no smiles in their eyes.

“These aren’t Nazis! Or rather, not entirely Nazis.” Black Widow Natasha Romanoff said, observing the symbols on their chests carefully.

“Yes, these people are Hydra. They did indeed originate from the Nazis, but under the leadership of Johann Schmidt, they have gradually broken away from the Nazis and are even more terrifying than the Nazis!” Nick Fury said, pointing at the skeletal man on the screen. “This man is Johann Schmidt. You can also call him Red Skull.”

“What are those things? Those ghosts?” Clint asked, clicking the video again and observing it repeatedly with his unusual eyes. On the screen, these orange ghosts easily infiltrated the Arctic base, easily massacring all the workers present. “This is…” Clint magnified the symbol and projected it onto everyone’s screen. This symbol bore a striking resemblance to the symbols on the ghosts.

“What’s the meaning of this thing? What does it represent?” Everyone pondered.

“So, I will dispatch you to the Arctic to explore that base. See if you can find any clues.” Nick Fury said.

“Ugh, I don’t want to go to the Arctic, it’s too cold there.” Clint complained.

“Coulson, Barton, Romanoff, the three of you will form a special squad and go to the Arctic. Besides investigating what exactly these Hydra are, you must also find Captain America.” Nick Fury completely disregarded Hawkeye’s feelings, giving the order without hesitation.

“Find Captain America?” Black Widow frowned. “With all due respect, sir, you’ve spent enough time in the Arctic. I really don’t think we’ll find Captain America’s remains in those glaciers.” Black Widow stated bluntly.

“Firstly, I don’t believe Captain America is dead, especially after seeing Red Skull, I’m even more certain of it.” Nick Fury refuted Black Widow’s words, then nodded. “But you’re right, we have spent a bit too long in the Arctic, so this time I’ve brought in outside help.”

“Outside help? What outside help?” Coulson, who had been silent, asked curiously.

Nick Fury took out a phone and pressed a few buttons: “Are you interested in this matter, Ms. Foster?”

A cold female voice came from the phone: “I am quite interested.”

Then, before the call ended, the air in the conference room suddenly vibrated abnormally, followed by a loud bang. A light blue portal appeared in the conference room, and a silver-grey robot walked out.

“When do we depart?” Jane Foster said.

“Oh my god!!!” Clint Barton immediately leaped back, grabbing the pen from the conference table, nervously aiming it at the robot in front of him, a look of horror in his eyes.

“Sit down, Agent Barton, don’t make a fuss!” Nick Fury reprimanded. The others, however, sat very upright. They seemed to have guessed that the robot in front of them was the director’s so-called outside help, but the surprise in their eyes was hard to erase.

“Alright, alright!” Clint Barton shrugged, looking at the female robot in front of him. Only then did he realize that instead of a robot, it was more like a synthetic cyborg. Part of her head still showed skin, and she looked very beautiful. It was just that Clint had watched the Terminator series a few days ago and was a bit sensitive about robots.

“This is Jane Foster.” Nick Fury introduced briefly.

“Jane Foster? The female physicist?” Clint said in surprise.

Nick Fury nodded, saying no more. He began to hand them some data about the Arctic base, explaining everything. He told them to get their gear on immediately and assemble in the training room.

Then, Jane Foster nodded to the people dressed in arctic gear, extended her arm, and transformed it into a hand cannon in front of them, firing a shot into the air.

A loud bang resounded again. Jane Foster, using the coordinates provided by Nick Fury, opened a portal to the Arctic. The temperature in the training room instantly began to drop rapidly. Black Widow and the others were fine, already wearing their insulated clothing, but Nick Fury, standing nearby, only had a simple black trench coat. Yet he endured it, as if this bit of cold was not even worth noticing.

He nodded, watching them stand before the portal, and said, “Good luck.”

This team disappeared before him.

Arctic base, four people appeared out of thin air.

The base was covered in blood, along with mutilated bodies and severed limbs. From this horrifying scene, they could guess the attack it had endured.

Let me briefly explain the issue with Captain America. It’s actually due to a conflict between the initial setting and the new setting. This book originally started on Longkong, and those who have read both versions should know that the Shuke version has undergone many changes and additions. However, after it was published on Shuke, I made a slight plot change in the outline, delaying Captain America’s excavation time. But I didn’t realize that he had already been unearthed earlier in the text, which led to a plot conflict.

However, it doesn’t matter much because it was just one sentence, and I’ve deleted it. You can just forget about it.

Also, the Marvel volume will end in a few more chapters, so I will have the Marvel volume and other volumes proceed simultaneously.
