Dragon Ball: The Strongest Goten Chapter 005

That evening, Chi-Chi and the others discovered Goten had grown a tail. X Goten readily admitted he wished for it from Shenron. What else could he say? That it grew out on its own? Anyway, someone already knew he used the Dragon Balls, as long as no one knew he had clones.

As for the reason, of course, he used his innocent and adorable appearance to get away with it. All he needed was to say, with a wronged expression:

“No, I’m here to find Uncle Vegeta. Can you please take me to him?”

Trunks looked dejected. “You never come to find me, Goten, honestly. Hey! Goten, how did you grow a tail?!”

Goten feigned ignorance and chuckled, “It just grew out on its own when I woke up today, haha.”

Trunks looked envious. “Ah, I want a tail too! Dad said all Saiyans have tails, so I’m the only one who hasn’t grown one!”

Goten: “Then let’s go ask Uncle Vegeta right now. Take me there quickly.”

Trunks: “Okay.”

Trunks directly led Goten to Vegeta’s private gravity chamber, which looked more like a modified spaceship.
