Chapter 263: The More You Resist, The More Excited We Get!

This time, the sensation of teleportation was different from before. There was no dizzying, stretched-and-squashed feeling. It was like passing through a layer of water without getting wet, and then they landed.

Ted looked around. It was a very spacious area.

Man-made, similar to a school auditorium.

Since there were no windows, he didn’t know where it was, or if it was underground.

However, Ted’s mind stirred, and he pulled out the Marauder’s Map.

Sure enough, he was in the school! Right beneath the castle!

Then Harry, Hermione, and the others appeared behind him.

It turned out that the previous generation of guardians had decided to completely bury this secret. To prevent it from being accidentally discovered by other wizards in the school, they simply blocked the secret passage leading here from inside the castle.

It was precisely because he blocked this secret passage that Headmaster Black became aware, and then discovered another entrance in the Forbidden Forest.

That’s right, a place like this would definitely not have only one exit.

The front door was inside the school, and the back door was in the Forbidden Forest.

The back door had also been sealed, and a tree was planted on top to cover the tracks, but Ted directly used a Luoyang Shovel Charm on it~

Ted waved his hand. Parker wriggled out of the little blob, climbed up his pant leg onto his shoulder, complaining all the while: “If I hadn’t wrapped myself in psychic energy, I would have been digested by the little blob!”

The little blob’s diet was quite broad, it seemed.

So Ted sent the little blob forward. “Go ahead and scout the way~”

When the little blob crawled to the middle of the mirror-like ground, the entire floor began to glow like a display screen. Countless light points and golden stars appeared, dazzling and beautiful, revealing a map of the area near Hogwarts.

Ted could even see Hogsmeade Village, but there was no train station. Perhaps it hadn’t been built yet.

On the opposite wall, four huge portraits, three or four meters high, also displayed images.

Four figures appeared:

A long-bearded old scholar, wearing a square hat, giving off an Archimedes-like vibe.

A short, stout old man with a small hat; a middle-aged woman in traditional Scottish attire; a turban-wearing middle-aged Indian man?

“Have the new generation of guardians finally appeared?” the long-bearded old man murmured, but then immediately exclaimed in surprise, “Wait! Why are there so many people?”

Then, the short, stout, round-faced old man also spoke, “You are not the inheritors?!”

The middle-aged woman immediately said in a rather stiff tone, “However you came here, there is nothing you want here. Leave quickly. Do not delay!”

Her tone was exactly like Professor McGonagall’s when facing mischievous students.

The turban-wearing man didn’t speak, merely observing Ted and the others.

But seeing him, Ted couldn’t help but think of dear Professor Quirrell…

“Good day, four professors!” Ted walked down the steps and onto the huge, black, mirror-like ground.

“We are Hogwarts students. It has been decades since the previous generation of guardians passed away. It is now 1993…”

The turban-wearing middle-aged wizard then spoke, “Has it been over a hundred years already?”

Ted: “Yes.”

The middle-aged woman spoke again: “I don’t know how you learned of the guardians’ secret, nor how you came here. Leave now, this place has nothing to do with you.”

Jerry, Ron, and the twins among the companions immediately frowned: “I don’t like hearing that!”

Harry directly retorted, “Who says it has nothing to do with us? If it had nothing to do with us, would we be here?”

Harry: I got the information from my great-great-great-grandfather, and I found this place by my own ability, so it does have something to do with me!

The companions applauded in agreement.

Ted waved his hand, signaling that he would persuade them with virtue: “Is the professor saying we’re not qualified because of that talent for sensing ancient magic?”

“It seems you know quite a lot,” the stout old man said.

Ted nodded: “Indeed, whether it’s ancient magic, the guardians, or Morgana’s actions, we know a little about them.”

The four portraits’ expressions immediately turned serious upon hearing this.

Although investigating ancient magic was already serious, it was less so compared to investigating Morgana’s actions.

The emotional magic she collected was still locked in the secret vault!

That was a power that absolutely could not be known by anyone.

Fortunately, it was just a few young wizards who came.

The white-bearded old man sighed slightly: “Alas, in that case, we will have to erase your relevant memories. Although doing so is truly improper, compared to the secret being leaked, we have no other choice.”

Then, the “mirror” beneath Ted’s feet began to emit blue light.

Statues, each leaning on a sword or holding a wand, rose from “underground.”

Although they were stone statues, they had a metallic sheen, and blue magical pathways ran through them, making them quite artistic in design.

The turban-wearing middle-aged Indian man sighed, “Only inheritors can undergo the trial. I apologize.”

The companions all drew their wands, spontaneously forming a back-to-back, outward-facing formation.

Ted, however, still wore a smile: “Four professors, I also apologize. We are not here to undergo a trial, nor do we need a trial.”

As he spoke, he raised his wand, and a dark cloud began to spread across the six or seven-meter-high ceiling. Then, to the surprised gazes of the four portraits, ice cones, ice arrows, and ice chunks began to fall.

The companions had long been prepared for battle.

Harry held her wand with both hands, magic entwining it, transforming into a long—baseball bat?!

She leaped up and with one swing, smashed a sword-wielding golem, sending it flying, crumbling in mid-air.

This move was inspired by the enemies she saw fighting young Gryffindors in the Book of Adventures, a new move cobbled together from countless Black family records~

Hermione waved her wand, and a fan-shaped ice wall blocked two sword-wielding magical golems. The next instant, the ice wall exploded, blasting the two golems away.

Neville’s magic surged around him, even beginning to show a faint golden glow. The companions illuminated by the golden light felt “greatly invigorated,” and he himself directly drew the short sword from his waist, one hand with the sword, one with the wand, and charged towards the nearest magical golem.

He even sprinkled a handful of seeds along the way… These were newly cultivated magical plants, sunflowers, which could replenish stamina and vitality, and had a suppressive effect on evil entities.

He truly, I’m so moved I could cry.

Jerry, at some unknown point, silently appeared behind a magical golem that was holding a wand and firing purple curses at the companions. A dagger in his hand plunged straight into the back of its head!

The golem’s head, harder than marble and reinforced by magic, instantly shattered into countless pieces.

The dagger in his hand was the [Flame-Patterned Obsidian Dagger (Blue)] that Ted had given him.

This was originally a gift Jerry was going to give to Shirley, but since there was no holiday yet, he would use it for now.

After “assassinating” one wizard golem, Jerry rolled on the ground, instantly becoming transparent, and then vanished again.

The twins struck a pose and released “magical doubles,” invisibly knocking down the sword-wielding golems that tried to approach.

Ron pulled off the little bear pendant from his neck, threw it to the ground, and shouted, “To the battle station!”

Mecha Magic Bear · Ron, reporting for duty!

Ted understood, actions speak louder than words~

Cough, he meant, actions speak louder than words.

It would be very difficult to reason with these four old fogeys in the portraits.

They demanded entry qualifications.

You don’t have the qualifications, so what do you do?

Fight for a qualification!

You talk about inheritors and guardians, feeling very high and mighty.

Let me tell you—you’re just average!

Honestly, in Ted’s opinion, these magical golems were quite impressive.

At least their autonomy and combat ability were very promising.

And they were tough, with decent magic resistance.

They looked a bit like the magical statues Professor Flitwick left behind during the seven challenges in the first year!

There seemed to be some connection. Was there some kind of inherited bond in it?

And the ground beneath their feet had many dark blue magic lines forming special arrays, not only providing them with power but also offering assistance and even repairs.

Alright, very good.

Ted didn’t have many fantasies about ancient magic, but he was quite interested in the magic that had just been teleported, as well as these magical golems and arrays.

The four professors had also prepared a lot of useful things in this secret base they had set up after their deaths.

They originally thought these young wizards would be easily dismissed, but in less than three minutes, the magical golems were struggling.

The middle-aged female professor became anxious: “Don’t wait, now is not the time to be soft-hearted!”

The short, stout old man sighed lightly, and with a wave of his hand, more things emerged from the ground—a dazzling array of strange magical creatures!

Well, well, they had quite a few tricks!

However, it was still useless.

Ted also waved his hand, and several “Poké Balls” fell to the ground with a series of crackles and pops, and the pet army made their grand entrance!

Ansu, Parker, Cabbage, Little Blob, Troll, Mudman, and a large group of gnolls!

Hog held his axe-hammer and let out a sky-shattering howl: “Awooo~”

A red light flashed over all the gnolls, and they charged forward like they were pumped with adrenaline, howling excitedly.

Neville also retreated, sprinkled another handful of seeds, and then accelerated their growth.

Peashooters, Wall-nuts, Puff-shrooms, Fume-shrooms, Snapdragons, Chompers, Potato Mines…

His plant army was even more diverse. It stunned the four portraits on the wall!

After a century of slumber, had the magical world’s species become so abundant?

Ted: Professors, why don’t you just give in? The more you resist, the more excited we get. Don’t let us break you!
