## Chapter 175: Baby-like Sleep

“Professor? Professor Lockhart!” Neville tried to call out to him, but Lockhart only giggled, his hands and feet still restless, gesticulating wildly.

“What’s wrong with him?” Harry asked, a little worried.

Ted explained, “Professor Lockhart’s Memory Charm backfired and hit himself. It seems he’s lost all his memories and reverted to infancy!”

“Ah?” Hermione looked at Ted, then at Lockhart, feeling there was some connection there.

Ron, however, let out a sigh of relief, “Good thing he’s not dead, good thing he’s not dead.” But then he looked at his wand, inherited from his older brother, which had snapped completely in two.

Ted tossed Lockhart’s cherry wood wand to him, “Ron, you can use this for now!”

Lockhart, lying on the ground, saw the cherry wood wand in Ron’s hand and seemed to like it, reaching out with an “ooh-ooh-aah-aah” sound.

Ted smiled contentedly; he had guessed correctly.

As expected, bringing Lockhart to the Chamber and following the original plot had a task associated with it.

Ted was now very glad he had obtained Lady Ravenclaw’s chamber, and that others couldn’t enter.

This way, his knowledge from another world could have an explanation, instead of having to be hidden and never exposed.

Lady Ravenclaw had been gone for a thousand years, and now she was taking such a big blame.

A large, two-point-six-meter-tall troll appeared, accompanied by a foul stench.

Hermione’s eyes widened as she looked at Ted, “You researched trolls?”

Ted said, “Don’t rush. I estimate we’re not far from the Basilisk. Let’s get prepared first. Don’t worry about Malfoy; that young mysterious person left the message precisely to lure us there. He won’t do anything until we arrive.”

The Human Shrinking Charm could proportionally shrink humanoids, and Ted had only learned it a couple of months ago.

It showed Jerry’s exceptional talent in this magic; he could only shrink others to three-quarters their size at most, but he could shrink himself to one-fifth his size! Becoming thirty centimeters tall! He was truly a unique genius!

As for Neville, he had learned Protection from Evil and the Growth Charm.

Protection from Evil needs no further explanation; although the magic wasn’t difficult, it required a special will and mindset. Among their friends, only Hermione and Neville had learned it.

And the Growth Charm, only Neville himself had learned.

This magic could enlarge objects and individuals, and its application range was wider than the Human Shrinking Charm, which could only shrink people. However, it wasn’t as powerful as the Human Shrinking Charm.
