Ted, too, was overcome with childlike mischief, and when the mood struck him, he put on a show for everyone.

Taking advantage of the crowd between classes, Ted respectfully asked a suit of armor for directions.

Then, he subtly channeled his magic, making the armor point a finger.

“Oh, so it’s over there, got it, thanks!” He left in a flash of understanding, following the direction the armor had pointed.

This scene thoroughly misled the new students. A group of young wizards surrounded the armor, asking questions for half an hour, but received no response. Some of them then went to Ted for advice.

Ted’s explanation was: “You have to be polite, sincere, and ask from the bottom of your heart.”

The next day, the armor was covered in all sorts of gifts, from small trinkets to necklaces, and even cloaks and scarves. A group of young wizards displayed their sincerity.

Finally, the armor was carried away by an exasperated Filch, bringing an end to the spectacle.

The young wizards suddenly realized the armor was gone and immediately looked dumbfounded.

Ted sighed, “Oh, there were too many of you. The armor got tired of your questions and just walked away~”

The young wizards suddenly understood, filled with regret.

Ted: Tricking first-years is so much fun~

Later, when the Weasley twins heard about this, they already thought Ted was a master of mischief. Now, they were even more interested and eagerly invited him to join their prank organization—which they had decided to form on the spot.

Ted: Are you kidding me! You two are already on Dumbledore’s naughty list. How could I, a model student of the house, a respectable good student, collude with you and disappoint the professors!

But if it’s just scheming behind the scenes, that might be acceptable~

After two weeks of school life, the young wizards had made considerable gains.

Ron had devoured dozens of chicken drumsticks, Jerry had eaten several bowls of cheese. Ansu was endlessly munching on fries~

Neville gained the appreciation of Professor Sprout in Herbology, finding his passion and talent. He often went to the greenhouses to help during his free time.

Hermione had already self-studied several subjects and, with Ted’s help, had learned several spells ahead of time.

Harry, meanwhile, was draped in his ancestral Invisibility Cloak, embarking on the great nighttime adventures his father had once undertaken.

She even mysteriously told her friends on Monday of the third week that she knew what was in the corridor on the right side of the third floor.

“Behind the door is a gigantic three-headed dog!” Truly a restless soul~

Ted himself was immersed in the library, completing his reading tasks and copying a hundred books.

“Ding~ Completed quest [Wizard’s Ladder to Progress (Blue)], received reward: 400 EXP, Card [Body Strengthening Manual (Blue)].”

[Body Strengthening Manual (Blue)]

Item Card

This manual records the secrets of health and diet, and its text is imbued with magic.

If you follow the knowledge in this book for three days of exercise, you will receive a + 2 Physique bonus.

Uses: 1/1.

This was Ted’s first time seeing such a one-time item card.

After using the card, a blue-patterned booklet appeared, detailing knowledge and requirements for health and fitness.

After memorizing everything, Ted began to exercise according to the manual’s instructions, even reducing his time in the library and practicing magic for it.

Hermione had some reservations about this: “Are you going to give up your wand and just punch people from now on?”

Ted chuckled and explained, “A strong body is capital; you’ll understand later~”

Ted began exercising according to the manual, while Harry and the others started stirring up trouble again.

Harry: “I have a new plan…”

That night, Malfoy was challenged to a duel by Harry. This time, whoever didn’t show up was a coward!

Malfoy had been fuming for over two weeks, eager to restore his reputation, so he readily agreed.

The duel was set for the corridor on the right side of the third floor.

What can I say! How devious~

In the middle of the night, Malfoy, with his two cronies, swaggered through the door, only to crash head-on into a three-headed dog the size of a truck, drooling at them!

Malfoy’s eyes went blank on the spot, and he mumbled, “Illusions! All illusions! You can’t scare me!”

His legs were so weak he couldn’t move, shaking violently like a sieve, his robes trembling.

Goyle and Crabbe, his two cronies, after a three-second愣, plopped onto the ground, crying for their mothers, and scrambling away. They screamed like pigs in the corridor, directly attracting Filch.

This incident resulted in Slytherin losing 30 points, and Malfoy’s trio and Harry, who initiated the duel, were all given detention.

Malfoy’s trio was assigned to clean toilets by Filch, while Harry was summoned by Snape, supposedly to help with potions.

Ted thought it would be some disgusting work, like dealing with slugs or the internal organs and brains of magical creatures!

But it turned out to be weighing potion ingredients with a scale and then packaging them!

Was this even detention?

Although Snape didn’t say a single soft word throughout, this was already as soft as a puddle of mud!

Snape, where was your venomous tongue?

Ted had already imagined what the first class would have been like if he hadn’t deliberately attracted Snape’s attention.

Snape: “Harry, please tell me, if I were to find a bezoar, where would I look?”

Harry: “Professor, I’m sorry, I don’t know.”

Snape: “Honesty! Ten points to Gryffindor!”

Ted spent three days completing the training exercises in the Body Strengthening Manual, gaining a + 2 Physique effect.

Then the manual transformed into a blue light and vanished.

On September 19th, Hermione saw Ansu in the dormitory early in the morning.

Ansu flew in through the window with a copy of Aesop’s Fables and a note from Ted.

Hermione unfolded the note, which read: Happy Birthday~

Today was Hermione’s birthday. She was born in ‘ 79, and because her birthday was after September 1st, she started school a year later than Harry and the others.

“Ha! Thank you, Ansu, and Ted!” Hermione held up the book and examined it carefully, very happy.

Just then, her owl also flew in; her parents had sent her birthday gifts and a letter.

Nearly twenty days of Hogwarts life had deeply impacted Hermione.

Before, she had just been studying, studying, studying, without much thought, but now, she felt a little homesick.

Fortunately, she had made many friends at school and wasn’t lonely.

For children of this age, twenty days is truly not short. Sometimes, it can even make one feel like they’ve been old friends for years.

For example, Neville often asked Ted questions or for advice. He usually received many good suggestions, or some perfectly timed encouragement and comfort. This deeply moved him.

He had never felt this way before starting school. He loved going to school so much! He loved these friends!

He felt like he knew nothing and wondered if Muggle children’s education was really that impressive.

Ted and Hermione were like that, and while Harry and Ron were stronger than him, they weren’t that much stronger!

He even planned that if he had children in the future, he would send them to Muggle primary school first, and then to Hogwarts at age 11.

At Ted’s suggestion, he began writing a diary every day, recording important events and thoughts to avoid forgetting them.

Unlike his other friends, his favorite subjects were Herbology, Defense Against the Dark Arts, and History of Magic.

He truly loved Herbology, and Professor Sprout greatly appreciated him.

For the first time, he felt that classes were so wonderful, and he looked forward to Herbology class every time he checked the timetable.

Defense Against the Dark Arts was because of Professor Quirrell’s performance, which he deeply empathized with.

If he became a professor in the future, he would probably be nervous and stammer too, right?

What was he thinking? How could he possibly become a professor? He’d be thankful just to graduate smoothly.

Finally, History of Magic was peaceful and stress-free.

Professor Binns never asked questions, which was a blessing, making him much more relaxed. He probably didn’t even remember his name.

Twenty days had brought gains to all the friends.

Neville had become much more composed, his psychological deficiencies somewhat mended, and he was beginning to grow.

Ron was no longer the most unremarkable, only cared for by his third sister, a little transparent. He now had many friends.

Jerry was no longer the timid, half-human mouse-eared outcast; he had become a wizard, and his kin would be proud of him. And his friends didn’t care about his ears and tail.

Harry had found playmates and was no longer wandering alone in the vast old Black Manor. The feeling of sharing joy with others was truly wonderful.

Hermione was also slowly integrating into the wizarding world, no longer thinking with the mindset of a Muggle straight-A student. She had learned much more than just knowledge from Ted.

During dinner, the friends learned it was Hermione’s birthday and offered their blessings.

Ted even led the singing of “Happy Birthday.” Harry and the others had never heard the Muggle birthday song, and their singing was utterly disjointed!

But Hermione was still very happy. Although her parents weren’t with her, her friends were.

Ansu kept “getting some fries” on the side, devouring a whole plate to the point where he couldn’t fly.

Ted, meanwhile, told the curious students who had gathered to offer their blessings about the fascinating food culture of Muggle medieval times.

He had read a book called The Shepherd’s Calendar, which documented a lot of medieval food culture and many oddities.

These legendary stories, intertwined with gossip relevant to their own lives, were simply too captivating.

Ted, leveraging his old trade, spoke as if he had transmigrated into a medieval chef in a thrilling novel like A Bite of Medieval Times—battling wild wolves, saving the poor, fighting wicked servants, and when wicked masters arrived, publicly rebuking them to make them lose all authority. Then, when the masters sought revenge, he attracted the Earl’s daughter with his cuisine, gained the Earl’s appreciation, and entered the noble circle…

Everyone listened, utterly captivated!

Young wizards: Update faster, I can’t sleep! This has the potential for ten thousand subscriptions! It will be a classic when finished!

Adding to that, Ted embellished with various unique cuisines from Muggle countries he knew about. His vivid, flavorful descriptions made many young wizards start drooling.

A Hufflepuff at the next table, whose ears were practically stretched out, asked regretfully, “Why weren’t you sorted into Hufflepuff? This isn’t normal!”

Ted seemed to realize why the Sorting Hat thought he also suited Hufflepuff; their compatibility was indeed good.
